What we do with salon footage

A salon, cosmetology clinic, hairdresser, barber or nail stylist films mostly the same things: a treatment step by step, the result before and after, a short chat about the treatment. From such footage we edit reels with captions, pacing matched to the music and a cover for the profile grid.

You film the salon yourself on a phone between clients and we take care of the rest.

10 shots to film on a phone in a salon

This list takes about fifteen minutes. For reels, film vertically in good light and avoid digital zoom.

• The state before the treatment, filmed from one fixed spot
• The specialist’s hands at work, close up
• The product or tool you use
• One key movement of the treatment, in full, without cuts
• One sentence to camera: what the treatment is and who it is for
• The result after the treatment, from the same spot as the before shot
• The client’s reaction, if she agreed to appear
• The salon interior: reception, chair, product shelf
• A detail that makes the difference: scent, texture, colour
• An invitation: phone number, a visit, a booking link

How often to post and what it costs

For a salon that wants about two reels a week, the Steady package fits: 8 reels a month for PLN 1,432 net (PLN 1,761.36 gross), which is PLN 179 net per reel. To start, you can order one test reel for PLN 99 net.

If you film less, the Start package covers 4 reels a month. You can order a single reel before a promotion or holiday separately.

The client’s consent to appear

Before you publish a reel with a client’s face, agree on it with her. A practical way is a short consent in a message or on a slip at the treatment, saying where the reel will appear. For editing, we only need to know which shots we may use.

Music on the salon’s business account

Business accounts on Instagram and Facebook have a limited choice of licensed music. We add royalty-free music or deliver the reel without music. You add a trending sound in the app when you post.

What we do not show yet

We do not yet have reels from salons that we could show. We show examples of our work, and you will see a reel from your footage as a test before you buy a package.
